Why We Need Your Support

Weber Metro Cold Case Task Force Logo

The Weber Metro Cold Case Task Force is dedicated to solving unsolved cases that have been left unresolved for too long. These cases represent not just mysteries but real people and families who deserve justice and closure. Each cold case is a chance to bring peace to a grieving family, restore dignity to a victim, and make our community safer by ensuring that justice is served.

However, solving cold cases requires significant resources, including advanced forensic testing, specialized investigative tools, and hours of dedicated work by highly skilled professionals. Traditional funding sources often do not cover the extensive costs associated with reopening and re-examining these cases.

Your generous donations will directly support our efforts to solve these cases by:

  • Funding Advanced Forensic Testing: Many cold cases require sophisticated DNA analysis and other forensic techniques that are often expensive and beyond the reach of traditional law enforcement budgets.
  • Supporting Investigative Efforts: Your contributions help cover the costs associated with hiring expert investigators, traveling to re-interview witnesses, and conducting thorough searches for new evidence.
  • Community Outreach and Awareness: Donations help us raise awareness about cold cases and encourage the community to come forward with any information that might lead to a breakthrough.
  • Technology Upgrades: As technology evolves, so does our ability to solve cases. Your support allows us to invest in the latest tools and software that can analyze evidence more efficiently and effectively.
