Meeting Outline
The Weber County Commission meets each Tuesday. Unless otherwise publicly noticed, all meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. Public Hearings, as needed, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. County Commission meetings will be held in the commission chambers located at 2380 Washington Boulevard, in Ogden, Utah. Additional meetings are scheduled as needed and properly noticed. County Commission meetings are subject to change, and may be canceled. County Commission meetings are public meetings, not public hearings, although public hearings are sometimes scheduled with the County Commission meeting.
Public Hearings are held on items which the Commission would like to receive public comment. Notice of these hearings are published in the Standard-Examiner newspaper seven days prior to the scheduled meeting unless more notice is required by Utah State law.
Closed Executive Sessions. Closed Executive Sessions are scheduled, with public notice given and held in accordance with the provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act. These meetings are closed-door sessions and are not open to the public. Issues which may be discussed at Closed Executive Sessions:
- Character, competence, or physical or mental health of an individual.
- Litigation, collective bargaining, or real property exchange, lease or purchase strategy session.
- Deployment of security personnel, systems or devices; or
- Investigations of allegations of criminal misconduct.
