After 26 years, with no increases in the cost to record documents, the 2019 Utah State Legislature passed House Bill 247. House Bill 247 affects Recording Fees in the state of Utah.
- All instruments, regardless the number of pages, with up to and including 10 legal descriptions will be $40.00.
- After 10 descriptions, each additional description will be an additional $2.00.
- Recording fees for Dedication Plats will be $50.00 per page.
- Plats with more than one lot will be an additional $2.00 for each lot.
