John Ulibarri, AAS, RES - Weber County Assessor
John was born in Ogden at the old St. Benedict’s Hospital. He was raised in Roy, where he completed his primary education, before moving on to Weber State College. John resides in Weber County with his wonderful wife Randi and their two daughters.
John began his career in real estate in 1997 working as a fee appraiser. He then took a job with Davis County as a residential appraiser. John served in several different positions for the Davis County Assessor’s Office before accepting the appointment of Chief Deputy Assessor in Weber County in 2008. John is a Certified General Appraiser in the state of Utah. He earned the Ad Valorem Residential and Ad Valorem General Real Property Appraisal designations from the Utah State Tax Commission. On the international level, he holds the Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS) and Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES) designations with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO).
John is honored to serve the citizens of Weber County as their Assessor. He believes that creating the most fair and equitable assessment of our property values is important to all of us and our ever-stressed pocketbooks. John will continue to strive to provide the best possible service to all citizens and tax payers of Weber County.
