See Something. Say Something.
A “See Something, Say Something” submission allows community members to share information about suspicious, unusual, or concerning activity that could impact public safety. These submissions help law enforcement identify potential issues and respond appropriately.
What Information Should Be Included?
When providing information, include as much clear and factual detail as possible, such as:
- What you observed: The behavior, activity, object, or situation that caused concern.
- Where it occurred: The exact location or nearest address, landmark, or area.
- When it occurred: The date, time, and whether the activity is ongoing.
- Who was involved: Descriptions of individuals or vehicles when available.
- Why it seemed suspicious: What made the situation unusual, based on your direct observations.
What Should Not Be Included
To ensure information can be reviewed appropriately, please do not include:
- Emergency situations or crimes in progress
- Requests for immediate officer response
- Personal disputes, service complaints, or general customer service issues
- Assumptions, opinions, rumors, or speculation
- Information based solely on race, religion, national origin, or other protected characteristics
- Sensitive personal information not directly related to the observed activity
How to Submit Information or File a Report
- Immediate emergencies: If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, call 911.
- Need to speak with an officer right away or the situation is in progress (non-emergency): Call Non-Emergency Dispatch at (801) 395-8221.
- Suspicious activity (non-emergency): Use the See Something, Say Something submission form below.
- To file a non-emergency police report: Use the Online Reporting System on a separate page of this website. This system allows citizens to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report at no cost.
