2nd Annual Homicide Investigation Conference
The Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force is hosting the 2nd Annual Homicide Investigation Conference at the Weber County Sheriff's Office in Ogden, Utah, from November 5-7, 2024. This event is ideal for new detectives or those aspiring to become detectives, offering valuable insights and training in homicide investigations. The conference will feature a keynote presentation by Detective Jarrod Grimmett from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, discussing the "1 October" mass shooting, the deadliest in American history.
The conference runs daily from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with a registration fee of $250 if registered before October 1, 2024, and $275 after.
