3rd Annual Homicide Investigation Conference

The Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force is hosting the 4th Annual Homicide Investigation Conference at the Weber County Sheriff's Office in Ogden, Utah, from October 27-29, 2026. This event is ideal for new detectives or those aspiring to become detectives, offering valuable insights and training in homicide investigations. The keynote speaker is Jeffrey Ross, an experienced FBI Special Agent (ret.) with a background in psychology, criminology, and counseling. Jeffrey holds degrees from The Ohio State University and Cleveland State University. He brings extensive experience in federal law enforcement, interrogation, therapy, and child services since 1993.

The conference runs daily from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with a registration fee of $275 if registered before September 1, 2026, and $300 after.
