Chief Deputy Brandon Roundy
Chief Brandon Roundy has served in public safety for over twenty years as a Firefighter, Paramedic, and Law Enforcement in addition to four years of military service in the U.S. Army. Chief Roundy began his career in public safety as a part-time firefighter /EMT with South Ogden Fire Department in 1998 and hired as a full-time firefighter with Ogden City Fire Department shortly after. Chief Roundy’s law enforcement career began when he became a member of Ogden Metro SWAT as a Tactical SWAT Paramedic in 2002, which only served to further his interests in law enforcement and led to his leaving the fire service in 2007 to serve with Davis County Sheriff’s Office. At Davis County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Roundy held several assignments within the Patrol Division that includes Sheriff’s Deputy, Paramedic, SWAT, K9 Handler, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Patrol Lieutenant.
Over his career, Chief Roundy has had the privileged of working closely with both Fire and Law Enforcement agencies across three counties providing him with a broad perspective of public safety practices and openness towards change. Chief Roundy’s professional priorities are simple- Public Safety, Officer Safety, and Professionalism.
When he is not working, Chief Roundy can be found spending time with his family, doing something outdoors, playing sports, hunting, fishing, or camping.
