OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY
Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 10:00 a.m.
Weber Center, Ogden, Utah
In accordance with the requirements of Utah Code Annotated Section 52-4-7(1)(d), the County Clerk records in the minutes the names of all citizens who appear and speak at a County Commission meeting and the substance “in brief” of their comments. Such statements may include opinion or purported facts. The County does not verify the accuracy or truth of any statement but includes it as part of the record pursuant to state law.Commissioners Present: Craig L. Dearden, Chair, and Jan M. Zogmaister. Kenneth A. Bischoff was excused.

Commissioner Zogmaister moved to approve the consent items; Chair Dearden seconded, both voting aye.E. Action Items:
1. Resolution appointing a Weber County Representative to the Multi-County Appraisal Trust Board - Resolution 17-2009
Chair Dearden presented this item.
Commissioner Zogmaister moved to adopt Resolution 17-2009 appointing Cheryl Madson, Weber County Assessor, as a Weber County representative to the Multi-County Appraisal Trust Board; Chair Dearden seconded.

Chair Dearden aye 2. Contract with MediCruiser, LLC to provide medical care for inmates - C2009-116
Weber County Under Sheriff McLeod stated that this 1-year contract was for medical, dental and psychological services for inmates at the county’s Correctional Facility. It is anticipated that this contract will help control theses costs. Dental services will be done in-house, which further help to decrease personnel costs, etc. MediCruiser will oversee pharmaceutical costs.
Commissioner Zogmaister moved to approve Contract C2009-116 with MediCruiser, LLC, (Paul M. Gahlinger, M.D.) to provide medical care for inmates; Chair Dearden seconded, both voting aye.F. Assign Pledge of Allegiance & Thought of the Day for Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 10 a.m.
