Sean Wilkinson, County Planning Department, stated that this 2-lot subdivision is located at 4300 West 2550 South. This property fronts on 2550 South where the applicant has installed a fire hydrant to meet the Weber Fire District’s requirement. The applicant is requesting deferral of curb, gutter and sidewalk. Chair Dearden noted that this subdivision was outside of the 1 ½ mile radius of a school and Mr. Wilkinson stated that the Weber School District had informed the county that all students were eligible for busing in that area. The Western Weber County Planning Commission recommended approval on 6/10/2008 with the deferral of curb, gutter and sidewalk.
Commissioner Zogmaister moved to grant final approval of D Vanderkooi Acres Subdivision (2 lots) including a deferral for curb, gutter and sidewalk; Commissioner Bischoff seconded, all voting aye.

He said that this amount was minimal, there were perhaps 10-15 properties in this situation.
