F. Action Items:
1. Request to amend the site plan for the Edgewater Beach Resort P.R.U.D. by adding a garage with four parking areas in phase two
Sean Wilkinson, County Planning Department, showed a subdivision plat with the proposed changes. This development had been approved by the County Commission on 9/21/2004 and Phase 2 was approved without any underground or covered parking. The petitioner now desired to amend the approved site plan by adding four covered parking areas in a garage. A garage of approximately the same size had been approved for Phase 1 on 1/1/2008 by the County Commission. This 11- ft. tall garage, consisting of about 1,300 sq. ft., will be located southwest of the 4-plex building in Phase 2 and will meet the 50 ft. setback. The structure will resemble the 4-plex building in color and building materials. Chair Zogmaister asked how many phases there were in this development and Mr. Wilkinson responded that only two other phases did not have underground parking and similar proposals may come forth in the future.
Commissioner Dearden moved to amend the Edgewater Beach Resort P.R.U.D. by adding a garage with four parking areas in Phase 2; Commissioner Bischoff seconded, all voting aye.

West Haven - Contract C2008-151

Harrisville City - Contract C2008-158
Washington Terrace City - Contract C2008-159 Ron Willis, County Animal Control, presented these contract extensions noting that the Commission had approved animal control fee increases about two months ago (5/13/2008), otherwise the contracts were essentially the same as in the past.
Commissioner Bischoff moved to approve the animal control services contracts C2008-151 through C2008-159 with the above listed cities; Commissioner Dearden seconded, all voting aye.
3. Request for a Waiver and indemnity Agreement by and between Weber County and Swanson Tactical Training Center
Chair Zogmaister noted that it had been determined at the 5/6/08 Commission meeting that the Sheriff. would be authorized to sign these waivers and they would not need to come before the Commission. This item had been placed on the agenda today erroneously and thus no action was needed.
