OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY

In accordance with the requirements of Utah Code Annotated Section 52-4-7(1)(d), the County Clerk records in the minutes the names of all citizens who appear and speak at a County Commission meeting and the substance "in brief" of their comments. Commissioners Present: Craig L. Dearden, Vice Chair, and Camille T. Cain. Kenneth A. Bischoff, Chair, was excused and Vice Chair Dearden conducted the meeting.
Others Present: Linda G. Lunceford, County Clerk/Auditor; David C. Wilson, Deputy County Attorney; Fátima Fernelius, Clerk/Auditor's Office, took minutes.

Commissioner Cain moved to approve the consent items; Commissioner Dearden seconded, both voting aye.
E. Action Items:
1. Request to approve agreement by/between Weber County & Connex Informational Systems Inc., relating to provision of computer services for the Weber County Jail
This item was held.
2. Resolution & Interlocal Agreement with Marriot-Slaterville City for road maintenance services - Resolution 39-2005, Contract C2005-147
Kelly Hipwell, County Roads, stated that this was a contract renewal for the county to perform road maintenance services for Marriott-Slaterville and referred to the attached rate schedule.
Commissioner Cain moved to adopt Resolution 39-2005 approving corresponding Interlocal Agreement C2005-147 between Marriot-Slaterville City and Weber County for road maintenance services; Commissioner Dearden seconded.

F. Assign Pledge of Allegiance & Thought of the Day for Tuesday, November 22, 2005, 10 a.m.
G. Public Comments:
Commissioner Dearden recognized college students from Germany who introduced themselves and their areas of study. They will be making comparisons between similar areas in the U.S.A. (i.e., planning and zoning) with those in Germany. Commissioner Cain gave them an overview of Weber County's government and functions.
Jeanne Godfrey, Mother of the Year for Weber County and representing American Mothers Inc., extended an invitation to the upcoming event, "Families, the Strength of Our Nation" occurring on Sunday at the Ogden LDS Tabernacle. Commissioner Dearden expressed appreciation to Mrs. Godfrey for representing Weber County as Mother of the Year.
