In accordance with the requirements of Utah Code Annotated Section 52-4-7(1)(d), the County Clerk records in the minutes the names of all citizens who appear and speak at a County Commission meeting and the substance "in brief" of their comments. Such statements may include opinion or purported facts. The County does not verify the accuracy or truth of any statement but includes it as part of the record pursuant to state law.

1. Purchase Orders in the amount of $1,249,429.90
2. Warrants #196999 -#197127 in the amount of $361,850.27
3. Approval of Minutes for the regular Commission Meeting held December 21, 2004
4. Approval of follow-up letter to Hinckley Dodge on vehicles leased
Commissioner Cain moved to approve the consent items; Commissioner Dearden seconded, all voting aye.
E. Action Items:
1. Contract by/between Weber County & Wasatch-Cache National Forest for Law Enforcement - Contract C2005-1
Chris Zimmerman, Sheriff's Office, stated that the Forest Service paid the county $52,000 to assist with their law enforcement in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest areas. This amount is used to pay the officers' overtime hours. The term is from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005.
Commissioner Cain moved to approve Contract C2005-1 by and between Weber County and Wasatch-Cache National Forest for law enforcement; Commissioner Dearden seconded, all voting aye.
2. Resolution appointing two members to the Taxing Entity Committee for redevelopment, economic development and education housing development project areas in the City of Riverdale - Resolution 1-2005
David Wilson, Deputy County Attorney, explained the purpose of this resolution. Mr. Wilson and Ron Kusina, Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of Weber County, have served in the past. Commissioner Cain asked if Chair Dearden would prefer to be the alternate since he is now over the taxing entities and he felt that would be appropriate.
Commissioner Dearden moved to adopt Resolution 1-2005 appointing Ron Kusina (Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of Weber County) and Dan Olsen (County Comptroller) as its two voting representatives and Commissioner Craig Dearden as an alternate to the Taxing Entity Committee for redevelopment, economic development and education housing development project areas in the City of Riverdale; Commissioner Cain seconded.

H. Commissioner Dearden moved to adjourn the public meeting and convene a closed executive session to discuss the sale of real property and/or to discuss strategy relating to pending or imminent litigation; Commissioner Cain seconded.
