OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY
Tuesday, October 26, 2004 - 10:00 a.m.

In accordance with the requirements of Utah Code Annotated Section 52-4-7(1)(d), the County Clerk records in the minutes the names of all citizens who appear and speak at a County Commission meeting and the substance "in brief" of their comments. Such statements may include opinion or purported facts. The County does not verify the accuracy or truth of any statement but includes it as part of the record pursuant to state law.
Commissioners Present: Camille T. Cain, Chair, Glen H. Burton, and Kenneth A. Bischoff.
Others Present: David C. Wilson, Deputy County Attorney; Margarit Nersisian, Clerk/Auditor's Office; and Fátima Blackford, Clerk/Auditor's Office, who took minutes.

D. Consent Items:
1. Purchase Orders in the amount of $122,310.70
2. Warrants #194235 - #194401 in the amount of $1,229,490.27
3. Minutes of the regular Commission meeting held on October 12, 2004
Commissioner Bischoff moved to approve the consent items; Commissioner Burton seconded, all voting aye.
E. Action Items:
1. Request for consideration &approval to award the ADA Compliant Improvements for Weber County Parks Project Contract to City Creek Construction and Development
Dennis Richardson, County Engineering Department, stated that this project was to improve the campsites to ADA compliance. A number of bids had been received and City Creek was the low bid at $94,981.92. The high bid was $187,334. Mr. Richardson checked references and recommended City Creek Construction.
Commissioner Burton moved to approve the Notice of Award to City Creek Construction and Development for the ADA compliant improvements for Weber County Parks, Project #04-02; Commissioner Bischoff seconded, all voting aye.
2. Request for consideration and approval of a revised financial guarantee for Trappers Ridge at Wolf Creek P.R.U.D. Phase 2 in the amount of $94,517.50
Kevin Hamilton, County Planning Department, stated that the developers were changing the bank that they had been using for this project. The remaining amount for this new letter of credit is $94,517.50.
Commissioner Bischoff moved to approve the revised financial guarantee for Trappers Ridge at Wolf Creek PRUD Phase 2 in the amount of $94,517.50; Commissioner Burton seconded, all voting aye.
3. Request for consideration and approval of a contract by and between Weber County & Wasatch Figure Skating Show for collections at The Ice Sheet - Contract C2004-125
Mike Caldwell, Ice Sheet Director, stated that these contracts, items E.3 - E.6, were for a ticketed gate and the county would keep 25% of the gate ticket sales.
Commissioner Bischoff moved to approve Contract C2004-125 by and between Weber County and Wasatch Figure Skating Show for gate collections at The Ice Sheet; Commissioner Burton seconded, all voting aye.
4. Request for consideration and approval of a contract by and between Weber County and High School Hockey for gate collections at The Ice Sheet - Contract C2004-126

Commissioner Burton moved to approve Contract C2004-126 by and between Weber County and High School Hockey for gate collections at The Ice Sheet; Commissioner Bischoff seconded, all voting aye.
5. Request for consideration and approval of a contract by and between Weber County &Weber State University for gate collections at The Ice Sheet - Contract C2004-127

Commissioner Bischoff moved to approve Contract C2004-127 by and between Weber County and Weber State University for gate collections at The Ice Sheet; Commissioner Burton seconded, all voting aye.
